Find your ring size

01 / START WITH THE FIT

Two ways to find
your starting size.

At-home measurements are a starting point. For the most dependable fit, have a jeweler measure your finger with a ring sizer suited to your chosen band.

01

Measure a ring

Choose a ring that fits the same finger comfortably.

  1. Lay the ring flat on a ruler marked in millimeters.
  2. Measure across the center, from one inside edge to the other.
  3. Compare the inside diameter with the US size chart.

Illustration only. Do not place a ring against your screen to measure it.

02

Measure your finger

Use a narrow paper strip for an approximate circumference.

  1. Wrap the strip around the base of your finger, snugly without pulling tight.
  2. Mark where it overlaps. Lay it flat and measure the marked length in millimeters.
  3. Compare with the circumference column and check that the fit can pass over your knuckle.

A jeweler’s ring sizer gives a more reliable fit than a paper measurement.

02 / COMPARE YOUR MEASUREMENT

Your US ring
size reference.

Compare your measurements with this approximate US chart. Available sizes vary by design; refer to the options on the product page. Measurements do not guarantee a particular fit.

Diameter and circumference

Diameter is the distance across the inside of the ring. Circumference is the distance around the inside.

Circumference values here are calculated from the rounded diameters and are approximate.

03 / THE SMALL DETAILS MATTER

A comfortable fit, every day.

01

Measure the right finger

Measure the finger and hand you plan to wear the ring on. The same finger on your other hand may fit differently.

02

Check more than once

Repeat your measurement at different times when your hands feel comfortable. Temperature can affect finger size.

03

Consider the band

Wide bands can feel different from narrow ones. Ask for a fitting with a gauge similar in width to your chosen ring.

04

Ask if you are unsure

BEYOND THE RING

Find your preferred length.

Bracelets: Measure around your wrist with a flexible tape, then compare with the product’s listed length and closure. Your preferred fit and the bracelet design affect the length you need.

Necklaces: Use a flexible tape to explore where you would like a chain to sit. Compare with the necklace length and any extender listed on the product page.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

A few helpful answers.

Which size system does this chart use?

This guide uses US ring sizes. Measurements are approximate inside diameters and circumferences in millimeters. Check the sizes offered on the individual product page.

What if I am between sizes?

Repeat your measurements and ask a jeweler or the Facetra team for advice with your chosen band style. Avoid choosing from one paper measurement alone.

Can I measure a ring directly on my screen?

No. Screen dimensions and zoom vary. The diagrams on this page are illustrations rather than calibrated measuring tools.

Can every ring be resized?

Resizing depends on the design, metal and stone setting. Contact our team before ordering or arranging a resize to confirm the options and terms for your piece.

How can I find a size for a surprise gift?

A ring worn on the intended finger can provide a useful starting point. Ask our team about the selected design and applicable sizing or exchange options before purchasing.
